As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.
Meet Pete
With more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Pete Keating is based out of John L. Scott’s Snohomish office but also specializes in Lake Stevens, Woodinville, Everett, Mukilteo and Mill Creek. He often helps move-up or retiring home buyers and has a knack for large-land homes with shops and detached mother-in-law units. Waterfront properties are another area of expertise for Pete.
Clients choose Pete because he goes the extra mile when it comes to helping clients – even after the home has closed, he makes it a habit to check in regularly and see how things are going. He prioritizes communication, making himself available when clients need him. If any problems crop up, Pete doesn’t rest until they are resolved.
In Pete’s spare time, he can be found golfing, boating, coaching his kids in sports, or attending a live music concert. He also enjoys taking vacations in warm places like Palm Springs or Hawaii. He is an active member of his local Snohomish community, helping at local food banks, servings as a PTA member and helping people make home ownership a possibility through first-time home buyer programs and classes.
Reviews
“We could not be more happy with our experience! Pete helped us sell our home and the entire process was so seem-less
and easy! Pete went above and beyond and the results were reflective of his dedication and hard work. Our house sold
immediately in a less than hot market, well over asking with multiple offers. We would 100% recommend Pete and his team
if you’re looking to sell your home!” – Thoms Family
“Pete is amazing, total professional who cares about the details. He made my selling experience enjoyable during a
normally stressful time. Highly recommend if you are wanting someone to sell your home who cares about you and your
interests.” – Dreessen Family
“Peter went above and beyond to help prepare and sell my home. He made sure my home was cleaned, well staged, and
optimized for being marketed for top prices. He gave me tips to best prepare my home, and came during the weekends to
help me finalize the home setup. During the sale process he advocated for my best interests and made the selling process
as smooth as possible. Peter is absolutely amazing and I would recommend him any day.” – McLaren Family
“Pete and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. We were relocating out of state with two
little kids. From the day Pete came to our home to meet us for the first time he was so easy to work with, answered
every single question we had and was great around our kids. It was our first time selling a home so we had no idea what
we were doing. Pete made sure we sold quickly and got us top dollar. He took care of scheduling a cleaning before it
listed, inspections, etc so we really did not have to do anything other than move out. Pete is the best!!” – Northrup

“Pete worked with us for two years while we searched for the right house in a challenging market. He was always quick to
respond and never pressured us. His knowledge and experience - and let's not forget his kindness and humor - guided us
expertly through the whole process. He was there for us in ways we never expected. He alleviated our concerns and took
care of some of the preparation needed to sell our home of over 30 years. We highly recommend Pete Keating.” – Ferrigno

“We were relocating back to Washington state, but the Snohomish area was new to us and we were beyond lucky to have been
connected with Pete. His responsiveness from the start and throughout the process was amazing especially when we were
not local throughout the process. We scheduled two trips to WA for neighborhood and house tours and he maximized the
limited time we had to look in person. He not only listened to us, but heard what we wanted. He counseled when asked,
and genuinely makes you feel like you're working with a friend. Pete took the initiative to check out a house we saw
online, FaceTiming when he got there to give us the tour. Since he knew what was important to us in our house he made
sure to highlight those areas and then some. We ended up purchasing the home and saw it in person for the first time a
few days before we moved in. This truly speaks to how well he listened to us. I can't say enough good things about
working with Pete and Nicole who is equally responsive and on top of things. They are a great pair and I highly
recommend working with them.” – Deasy Family
Snohomish County
Snohomish is a city with a lot of history, which we are proud to show off and talk about. The center of town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and we’re known as the Antique Capitol of the Northwest. But that’s not all that makes Snohomish a great place to call home. Snohomish is close to the metro areas of Seattle and Bellevue, but just far enough removed for us to retain the peaceful character of a small town. As the oldest city in Snohomish County, our town has become an example of how historic preservation can not only make a location more pleasant to live in, but more economically successful as well. In addition to browsing our many antique shops, locals and visitors enjoy popular restaurants and shopping while walking along the historic buildings downtown. Outdoor activities abound here. From boating and fishing on the Snohomish river, to bird watching in the Riverview Wildlife Refuge, or playing in Centennial Park. There’s something here for everyone. Snohomish residents live in a variety of homes, from Queen Anne-style and Arts and Crafts-era houses in the heart of the city, to farmhouses with acreage a bit outside town. If you’d like to learn more about Snohomish, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.
